CALL FOR PAPERS
We solicit original contributions (8-pages articles + up to 2 pages for references only in LNCS format) related, but not limited to:
- anatomical and functional cardiac imaging methods, and associated novel image analysis tools;
- anatomical, statistical, physical and physiological modeling of the heart;
- computer aided diagnosis, surgery, robotics and image-guided therapy;
- simulation tools and resources for cardiac modeling, as well as experimental validation studies;
- preclinical/clinical imaging and modeling methods related to foetal, pediatric and adult heart disease.
For oral presentations: Presenters of selected papers who cannot travel will be allowed to send a recorded version of their presentation, but will be asked to connect remotely for a live discussion just after their presentation. Nevertheless, we encourage that one researcher from their group can be onsite to prevent any connection and presentation issues.
For poster presentations: one co-author should be onsite to present the poster, otherwise it won't be possible to interact on your work.

GUIDELINES
- Initial submission should be anonymized and limited to 8 pages (including abstract, text, tables, and figures) + up to 2 pages for references only.
- Format = LNCS template/guidelines
- Final version of accepted papers (including authors' names, affiliations, acknowledgements, and references) should not exceed 10 pages.
Accepted papers will be published by Springer in the LNCS book series.

FAQ (for accepted papers only)
- Length of final papers: 10 pages including references
- Files to submit: PDF with updates highlighted (e.g. with blue font) + a single .zip file containing the sources and PDF without the blue font. Don't forget the "Licence to Publish" (online form).
- You can provide Supplementary Material: Springer offers specific ways to access videos and data, see instructions and example here (videos) and here (data).
- The French network of in vivo imaging for biomedical research, France Life Imaging (FLI), offers 10 registrations for PhD or postdoctoral students, preferably affiliated to a French Laboratory, to present their work at the FIMH conference.
To apply, please send to fimh2023@sciencesconf.org the reference of the paper that you are to present at the conference, a short letter and a CV by April 28, 2023.
GUIDELINES FOR POSTER AND ORAL PRESENTERS
In case you want to include it in your poster/slides, here's a version of the FIMH 2023 logo with good resolution: png and pdf
POSTERS:
- Format A0 max. / portrait orientation / please avoid the collection of printed A4 pages as we see sometimes.
- Include images with good enough resolution.
- Remind your paper ID.
- The posters may be mounted on Tuesday 20 morning, and must stay up throughout the main conference. They must be removed on Thursday 22 morning, or Wednesday 21 evening if you have travelling constraints. Posters left behind will be discarded. Please note that we do not provide poster printing services.
ORALS:
- Please prepare slides for a 13-minute presentation. After your talk, there will be approximately 5 minutes for questions. Please ensure that you have rehearsed the timing of your talk beforehand to avoid delays in the schedule.
- Remind your paper ID in the first slide. Acknowledgements should come in the last slide.
- In-person Oral Presenters: please arrive at the presentation room at least 30 minutes prior to the beginning of the session.
- Send us your slides at least one day before your scheduled talk day. Avoid large files / prefer sending us a download link. Please prefix your file with your paper ID and first author name for easy identification.
- Remote Oral Presenters: please upload a recorded version of your presentation, with reasonably good sound quality. You'll receive a zoom link to connect during the session, and interact during the questions. Nevertheless, we encourage that one researcher from your group can be onsite to prevent any connection and presentation issues.
- The preferred formats are Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe PDF. Please prepare your slides in 4:3 aspect ratio. We suggest bringing a copy of all the files including movies on a USB key. If you are including videos in your presentation, please check the correct display on another computer beforehand. The video files should also be uploaded in the link provided for your slides.
